FREE Tax Preparation this Saturday |

Assembly member Dave Jones is partnering with the Sacramento Coalition for Working Families to host a free tax preparation event this Saturday, January 30th at Grant High School (1400 Grand Avenue, Sacramento, CA) from 9am – 3pm. Certified tax preparers will do your taxes for free at this event. Help will be provided in multiple languages. However, you have to schedule an appointment in advance. Please call 2-1-1 TODAY to reserve your appointment for free tax preparation. |

Sunday School and FREE physical checkups for children |

Medical doctors from Shifa clinic will be visiting us on Sunday during the Sunday school hours to perform FREE physical checkups on the children attending the school. Spread the word and and let us know if you have any questions or concerns about this activity. The time of the school is from 10 am to 1:30 pm. |

Islamic Center of Davis
The Islamic Center of Davis is a non-profit, religious organization, the fundamental purpose of which is to encourage and to enable Muslims with the basic knowledge and competence in Islam to contribute individually and collectively toward meeting human needs in conformity with Islamic doctrines and belief.
The aim of the Islamic Center is to serve the best interest of Islam and Muslims in Davis. Towards this end, it shall:
- Promote unity and joint action among the Muslims.
- Conduct social, cultural, religious, and other activities in the best traditions of Islam.
- Arrange and hold congregational prayers and Islamic religious festivals at appropriate times.
- Promote friendly relations between Muslims and non-Muslims.
- Endeavor to make Islamic teachings known to interested non-Muslims.
